Cohabitation Agreements

In order to avoid many of the problems which arise on the break-up of a cohabitation arrangement , if you and your partner are living together, we can draft a Cohabitation Agreement which records your intentions about your assets and how they would be divided in the event of the relationship ending. Cohabitation Agreements sometimes include maintenance too.

As your assets grow, and the respective contributions of you and your partner change over the course of time, you may need to update your Cohabitation Agreement.

Pre-Nuptial and Post-Nuptial Agreement

A Pre-Nuptial Agreement sets out how assets will be divided in the event of separation or divorce.  A Post-Nuptial Agreement can be entered into after the marriage or civil partnership has taken place and sets out how the assets of each party should be divided in the event of divorce or dissolution of civil partnership
