Personal Injury

Why use Woolliscrofts Solicitors?

Every year we help hundreds of people claim for personal injury and our specialist team of personal injury lawyers are here to help make things easier for you and your family. Compensation is only part of the story. Our solicitors can also help you access to rehabilitation, medical care and the support you need to make the best possible recovery.

How long have you got to make a claim?

The basic rule is that Claimants have 3 years from the date of their accident within which to make a claim. However, in some cases the time can start to run from when you become aware of the fact that your injury was due to somebody else’s negligence.

There are exceptions to the 3 year rule. Sometimes the time limit can be shorter and so if you think you need to make a claim, then it is important that you contact us without delay.

No win No fee

Almost all of the claims that we handle are dealt with on a No win No fee basis, which means that if your claim doesn’t succeed, then there is no charge. If your claim succeeds, we are required to charge you a Success Fee and recover the cost of any insurance, both of which items would be deducted from your damage award.

We will assess the risk of your claim at the outset of your case, in order to establish a reasonable prospect of success.

What kinds of injury claim you claim for?

We deal with the following types of injury claim:-

  • Serious Injury Claims
  • Road Traffic Accident Claims (including pedestrian, cyclist or passenger claims)
  • Accident at work Claims
  • Tripping and Slipping Claims
