Pricing for Employment Work
The cost of pursuing or defending a claim before a Tribunal can vary dramatically depending on whether the case proceeds to a hearing, the complexity of the evidence and the nature of the case.
We might need to instruct a Barrister to deal with the matter and in some cases we might need to make arrangements to provide medical evidence to the Tribunal.
- A simple case
Involving a contractual dispute might attract costs between £500 – £4,750 depending on whether the case went to a tribunal hearing. Hourly charge rate of £150 – £225.
- An unfair dismissal case
Would involve costs in the range of £750 – £7,500 excluding Barristers Fees depending on whether the case went to a tribunal hearing. Hourly charge rate £150 – £225.
- A complex case
Involving (for example) discrimination would involve costs in the region of £2,000 – £9,000 excluding Barristers Fees depending on whether the case went to a tribunal hearing. Hourly charge rate £150 – £225.
